Bari: second stopover on the way to Greece

For the second stop on our trip to Greece, we will visit the beautiful city of Bari.

The Basilica San Nicola, built in the Mid-Ages, is enthroned in the heart of the city. Step into a world full of pomp and admire the golden decorations of its inner facades!

But her in Bari you will not only find pomp, but also italian cuisine at its best! Welcome to the Strade delle Orecchiette, also called the "Pasta street". Watch italians manufacturing pasta in traditional italian ways. One kilogramm of costs only about 6€. Buon appetito!

For a pleasant end to a long day, we recommend a calming walk with a sea view along the promenade next to Lungomare e murat, Italy´s longest dam!
