A stop in Foggia

Located in the center of the great plain of Tavoliere delle Puglie, in the northern part of the region, Foggia is the most populated city of the "Capitanata".

When travelling to the province of Apulia, Foggia should be on top of your to do list. Especially to young people the capitol of the province is famous because of it´s night life. In addition, fashion and architecture both play an important role here.

In the Middle Ages, Foggia served as an imperial residence of emperor Frederick II who built a majestic castle here. Although there unfortunately are only a few portals left, one can easily imagine how splendid the building once must have looked once.

Who loves the nature, should definitely pay a visit to the Gargano coast and the Tavoliere, a plain in Apulia. Not only are there many hiking trails and mighty cliffs, but also sunny bathing beaches. Moreover, the plain offers you amazing viewing points to observe the surrounding nature.
