We all know Las Palmas, the capital of Gran Canaria. But have you ever heard of the gorgeous village of Fataga? This is the green side of Gran Canaria as Fataga is located in the "Valley of a Thousand Palms", a green strip between the rugged cliffs. The place is renowned for its plant diversity, but it suffered quite a bit from a fire in 2017. However, the traces of the fire have been largely removed so far.

This idyllic green place is definitely worth a visit!
