Endless expanses... A highway in the train travel agency account?

The Pamir Highway in Tajikistan is a section of the M41 trunk road, the main highway in the Pamir Mountains. The route is located in the Eastern Pamirs, commencing in Afghanistan, crossing from the west to the east of Tajikistan and terminating in Kyrgyzstan. The Pamir Highway is an excellent route for hiking or biking, especially in the summer, as the surrounding area consists largely of untouched flora; although the Eastern Pamir Province accounts for about 43% of Tajikistan's land area, only 3% of Tajikistan's population lives here.

The Pamir Mountains are a foothill of the Himalayas and, therefore, are very high in altitude. In the Eastern Pamirs roads are never below 3500 meters of altitude, the highest point of the road, the Ak-Baital pass, is at an altitude of 4655 meters.

In the Eastern Pamirs, however, there is not only the highway and the flora, but also wildlife: native to this area are, among others, snow leopards, sadly threatened with extinction, and Marco Polo Argali giant sheep.
